I decided when I put these in the oven that if they didn't work I'd turn the dough into truffles because it's omg gorgeous. http://www.joyousbirth.info/forums/images/smilies/happy/icon_lol.gif

Scuse weird measurements, it was the first measuring thing that came to hand when I looked in the drawer. Subsitute whatever you have at home I reckon.

about 125gm butter
1/3 cup each of the following:
hazelnut meal
almond meal
dessicated coconut
plain spelt
cocoa/cacao
rapadura
splash vanilla extract

Beat butter, rapadura, vanilla till a bit combined - I just used a spoon in a bowl but you could use a mixmaster without doubt. Add the other ingredients. Roll into a log and freeze, slice off bits and put in the oven at about 180-200C until they smell cooked or about 12-15mins probably.

Be careful removing because they're very soft still. Let cool on a rack and they'll go crunchy.

I made these tonight with double the butter and a cup of each of the ingredients except the coconut because DP doesn't like coconut. I've got 4 batches of it in the freezer now!

Too kind. :lol These ones could almost be sort of um not too bad for you too. They were nice for brekkie today in the car on the way to Ikea.

Anyway, according to the title it doesn't contain "Chocolate", only choclate.
