For those of you that know of Felicia (she was in Buffy, Dr Horrible & has her own web show The Guild) I was watching her interview with Kevin Pollack and they got to talking about her being a validictorian at Uni and how she regretted it as she was all about The A, and spent so much time and energy into getting high marks and she doesn't even utilise it now in what she is doing.
They then talked about how she was homeschooled, I cheered, and *then* she said that they followed the 'unschooling' method (paraphrased) and I cheered louder :lol
Its just exciting to see someone who is in the public eye who was 'unschooled' and is positive about it :) I know I don't need to explain our decision to anyone but its nice to have someone like her to refer to if the ILs give us grief :)
