:shock I was just coming in to post this self same question. I have arborio, I have vanilla, I have spices, I have sugar - four different types.

I want this for breakfast...

I just made it up. :lol Make yer bog standard sweet risotto with rice, milk sugar, add vanilla, add whatever spices you like. I added cinnamon, mixed spice and a tiny little allspice. Do what you like otherwise. :) I'm also rah-ther fond of adding melted choc and/or cacao/cocoa because it's easier to make chocolate rice than custard when you don't do wheat. :lol

Nope, you don't. :lol Rice in saucepan, add liquid of choice, stir till all absorbed keep adding till you get to where you wanna be. The lazy cheaty version is add heaps of liquid, wait till boiling occurs and come back and stir a little bit.
