If you have a recipe please add it here!

1 cup water
1/4 bar soap
12 cups hot tap water
Bucket
4 tablespoons washing soda
2 tablespoons borax
Put the cup of water in a saucepan on the stove. Whilst you are heating it up grate the soap into that same saucepan. A potato peeler is good for this job. Stir the soap flakes until they are melted into the hot water.
Put the 12 cups of hot water into a bucket. Tip in the hot soapy water into the bucket and stir. Add the washing soda and stir again. Lastly add the borax and, of course, stir again.
Allow to cool. Use as per normal.
This will make a small amount of laundry liquid. If you like it then next time make it in bulk. You can of course add lavender oil (or other aromatic oils) to give your washing a fresh floral smell.

Low Allergy Laundry Powder
Measure by volume, not by weight,

one part - Bi Carbonate Soda,
one part - Washing Soda (the powder form - not the crystal form)
and
one part - pure Soap Flakes, (either Lux, grated Sunlight soap, or your grated home made soap).

These three ingredients mixed together will get your clothes clean, without the chemicals that are destroying our environment and harming many people at the same time.

I started off with the first recipe. Now I just grate any cake of soap - usually something from one of my suppliers for SG. I just use 100% soap and follow the directions - grate, melt, dilute, bottle. I sometimes add some essential oils if the soap is a mild one. So no ingredients except what's in the soap + water. I am onto bottle #7 or so of this and I can't see a difference in our clothes - ie: they're not stained etc They're soft and they smell good!

Well that's easy :lol
Does it leave a soapy residue? I've tried a similar method but found that some vinegar in the rinse meant there wasn't any soapy feeling at the end. I like eucalyptus oil in the liquid, smells so nice and fresh.
