If you just ignore the snide remark about boys and sewing (*sigh* it's not as if I sew with my vulva...) this page (http://growingupgreen.com.au/?p=12448&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+com%2FRJIV+%28Growing+Up+Gree n+%C2%BB+Newsletter%29) had some cute ideas, including a follow-up on the scavenger hunt idea in another thread here that makes it great for outdoor objects that can't really be moved around much.
And finally - an idea to use heaps of toilet rolls at once! :eager
Hey that looks good (and it's up to you what you do with your vulva but Renoir said 'I paint with my prick' - bet you could go one better).

Well Mud I'll just leave it up to you if you choose to wear any sewn gifts from me without washing them first. :rofl

Ta for that Casso. Just what I need. Another thing bookmarked in my header! I rediscovered this blog last night. She's homeschooling and their 'curriculum' at the moment is reading a book a week from the series The Magic Treehouse and following wherever that leads them.

Sorry, hope that works, really must learn how to do a proper link.

We have the first Magic Treehouse book here Lou if you want to borrow it. Harry isn't really that into it and found it a bit scary (which makes me think D might be scared by it as well) since it's about dinosaurs. I think she'd be much more into the ones about history. But anyway, the offer is there if you'd like it. :) Look at bookdepository.co.uk and they have a big box set of the first 25 or so of the books.
Thanks for the link.
We've been using this one recently - http://www.artistshelpingchildren.org/ .

More cool crafting ideas here.
Casso - you're probably right about D, if Harry is scared, he will be for sure. I'm not familiar with the series, but the idea strikes me as kind of cool. Could apply it to just about any book of course.

http://www.annwood.net/blog/ Don't like the look of her beach, but it would be fun mudlarking. She's got some cool crafty stuff.
