Waaaay cool...what an inspiration. Wish my garden was 1/10 th as productive. Something to aspire to eh?!

After watching that I looked at the lawn outside and saw a huge wasted opportunity. But I guess the kids have to have somewhere to run around.
Yeah the Dervaes are an inspiration! I've linked to a lot of their stuff in the sustainability sticky on JB. He's the one who first coined "urban homesteading" I think. I used to read their bloghttp://urbanhomestead.org/ and I'm a member of their Freedom Gardens facebookesque thingy but I haven't done much with our place so I haven't kept up with it.

I find him a bit off putting that he has registered the term "urban homestead" and threatens to sues anyone who uses it. I would be like me putting a trademark on " organic knitting" and suing all and sundry.
