Ice block painting

I was watching Playschool with DD this morning and they were painting with coloured ice blocks. It look good an was something different so I thought I would pass it on!

All they did was colour water with food colouring, pour into ice trays and freeze, when they were frozen, the tipped them out, got some paper and drew on it with the ice blocks. As they melted, it drew on the paper, looked quite good really!

Just another idea to file away :)

Zara would too. She's already almost choked on playdough after shoving heaps in her mouth.
