Do they have any recipes for breatharians? Handy hints for how to make oxygen more tasty perhaps?

Yes ... according to one of J's old friends fathers (although I confess it's second hand info and not from the website in q) you should eat mars bars and drink coke in the wardrobe :imateapot Not sure you need a recipe for that though - sorry. But hey! I'm sure you could get kids RIGHT INTO IT!!

sorry to put this down but the annoying thing about this (and other) sites is that they don't include recipes that are dairy free, gluten free, meat free soya free and egg free all together at the same time! I should put together my own recipe page but it would mostly consist of vegetable and bean stew with seasonal-ish veg and rice!

we could cook more as a family but i find it such hard work :oops i shall make an effort to involve the big-two (5 and 3!!) next week whilst their brother is having a nap before lunch. i was amazed to see a five-year old's self-made butterfly cakes on a blog recently. I guess it will get easier as they get older - plenty of time available as they are at home and not in prison, I mean school ;)

our fave recipe of the moment is: two grated carrots, one or two grated apples, raisins or sultanas and lemon juice all mixed together with some ground cinnamon. i don't know about child-level cooking, that is my-level cooking!

it's easy when you know how :)

in fact as the children and i will eat dead animals and fish once every week or three, it becomes a little more straight forward. i am working on that one as i know even organic meat comes from an animal and it is super wasteful of water; and of course the poor seas are just dying on us. But we still love and enjoy eating the products from them (the kids would definitely eat more if they had a free choice), I just try to balance their needs with mine - I only became non-vegetarian whilst pregnant and never yet converted back, we just ended up ditching dairy etc due to food intolerances/allergies. I am working on a plan to become almost vegan again one day (we won't give up on honey for some time) and November is vegan month here so we may do it for the month, at least me if not the kids. I have to respect their choices as so many other aspects are not an option for us. Their dad will be thrilled when/if they make an informed decision when older to do it.

There's a "free" thread on JB, I might start one up here too.
