Ours is probably frittata with kumara, spinach, nuts and seeds, cabbage, ham and whatever else we have on hand :D
Or that salad I put in the salad thread.
What's yours? Share the recipe :D

Mine used to be Nigella's brownies which I took to lots of parties. DP's Signature Dish is the mexican-style mince thing I taught him to make with guacamole and sour cream on potatoes. It's very delish. It has dried cumin, chilli and the secret ingredient is a dash of dried rosemary.
Probably Indian, my mum still talks about the Indian feast I cooked them 5yrs ago! :lol

I am not so advanced in my culinary skills to have a sig dish!!
Current fave though is the grated apple, carrot, lemon juice, sultanas and cinnamon one. I get asked if this is on the menu for most meals these days. :)
We've been eating olive, tomato and avocado salad for longer than I can remember though. All three children like to pop the olives on their fingertips and generally act childishly with them. :lol

That sounds nice! What dressing do you have on the olive avacado salad?
we're also way into home made mayo with wasabi or lemon aspen.

Maybe vegetarian lasagne? I seem to cook a lot of pasta because it's so easy! Oh lots of my friends request my lentil shepherd's pie too. Yummy!

just some olive oil and maybe lemon juice. we tend to keep our food here pretty plain from all the food intolerances we harbour. it is th efresh herbs that add the zing. i love wasabi but haven't eaten it for a long time!

I like plain dressings. Often I just use lemon juice, pepper and olive oil. Less is always better in my world :)

Hmmm delish! My sig dishes/sides are: grilled field mushies with herb ''butter'' ( made with fresh herbs from my herb pot), penne with roast pumpkin, garlic, baby spinach & pine nuts, the salad I mentioned earlier, and my carrot & pineapple cake. The crushed pineapple keeps the cake really moist and scrummy.
DP is kinda famous for his fresh pestos and bruschettas! Pesto: basil, pine nuts, parmesan, olive oil etc. Bruschetta: toasted bread (I like sourdough, he likes those bake-at-home rolls), tomato, spanish onion, garlic etc, & he also chops large red chillies up (after removing seeds) realy finely and toasts it in olive oil with crushed garlic, and just slaps that onto the breads too. You have to be a chilli lover for that one obviously.

These sound so yummy! My sig dish is called Balsamic Pasta. You fry off some red onion in lots of olive oil, add some cherry tomatoes and lots of balsamic vinegar. Let that reduce until its a source then add some baby spinich, cooked angel hair pasta - take off the heat and crumble through some Australian feta cheese. YUM YUM.

mmmmmmm! Yum!
I'm trying to make korma tonight so if it works we might h ave a new sig dish! I'll share the recipe ;)
i never cook for guests! I leave it up to DH. His tried and true is his pasta and salad. It's just vegetarian pasta but even the kids prefer whatever he does when he makes it over whatever I do when I try to make the same.

Sadorian I made that balsamic and onion dish tonight but instead of putting it on pasta I put it on mashed potato and it was REALLY good. Thanks heaps for the suggestion!
