Knox sex case: second arrest
The 71-year-old man is due to appear before Hornsby Local Court after 2pm today for a series of alleged child-sex offences, a police spokesman said.
He is the second man associated with the Wahroonga school to face such allegations in as many days.
Yesterday, year six teacher Craig Treloar, 49, of Hornsby, was refused bail on four charges - two acts of indecency and two counts of indecent assault.
The charges against Treloar relate to complaints made by two men, who were aged 11 and 12 when the alleged offences took place in 1986.
Police are expected to make further comment on the second arrest following the court hearing, however it is understood that more former students have come forward with allegations of abuse following the arrest of Treloar.
Detectives have formed Strike Force Arika to investigate sexual abuse claims by former students at the school.
