My boy went to his first ever class yesterday - an art class run for local homeschooling children at studio in Lismore. It is meant to be for children 5 and older but the teacher agreed to take him on. He LOVED it, and keeps asking me when he can go back. He was happy for me to leave him there on his own which was so lovely for me - a whole hour and a half to myself! I will post a picture of the dog me made when I get more batteries for the camera.
It feels so grown up, sending him off to a class!

Malachi does art classes about once a month and loves it too :D He'd love to go every week but that'd stretch the budget a bit!

That's great! Glad he enjoys the class :) It does seem very grown up! The dog is super cute. Wonder what's on the agenda for next time... a cat companion perhaps? Very easy maintenance pets, especially as you're renting...

The next one is on Friday... we both can't wait! They do completely different things each fortnight apparently.

Looks like lots of fun :) B loves her pottery class and I've occasionally looked into a more general art class but she's not interested in swapping and we can't afford both. Whenever she gets bored with pottery we'll see (although that doesn't look likely :lol).
